Patrick LaPorte is a Northern Delaware based multimedia sports journalist that specializes in sports writing and photography. He currently holds the position of sports editor at The Cecil Whig, a bi-weekly newspaper in Elkton, Maryland.
Prior to his time with The Cecil Whig, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications with a minor in Journalism at the University of Delaware. There, he served as a multimedia student journalist for The Review Student Newspaper, the school's student radio station 91.3 WVUD and as webmaster for the University of Delaware Club Track and Field Team.
